Envelope photos usually appear the same day. Ours showed up within a few hours. This depends entirely on the store, though, and some locations take 2 to 3 business days.

A content scan costs $2.25 for up to 10 pages, then $0.25 a page. Quality was fine for reading an invoice. It was not sharp enough to archive a legal document. Forwarding shows live rates from USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

Buy scans in bundles if you plan to use them. iPostal1 sells 5 scan or shred orders for $10, 10 for $18, and 20 for $30, which drops the per scan cost from $2.25 to $1.50 at the largest bundle. The bundles never expire. They are also non refundable, and they sit under Optional Services rather than anywhere you would trip over them.

The dashboard works but looks dated. The Android app sits at 2.5 stars across roughly 1,300 ratings, iOS at 3.3 across 1,082. We hit an Android crash loop twice while requesting a scan. So did others. The most helpful Play review describes the app crashing on every scan or shred order.

Virtual Office plans start at $39.99 a month and add a local phone number, fax, and voicemail. Toll free starts at $59.99. Calls forward to any number you set. Voicemails arrive in your dashboard as audio files, with 250 free minutes a month.

No live receptionist is included. iPostal1 sells AI and Live Call Answering as an add-on from $49 a month, so a real answering setup runs about $89 a month all in. We had that add-on at $99 a month until our July 2026 price check. For a founder who just needs a number on a business card, the plain Virtual Office plan does the job.

Meeting rooms exist only at coworking locations, and the local operator sets availability and price. We found no way to book one from the iPostal1 dashboard. You contact the location directly.

Registered agent service is the part that matters if you are forming an LLC. iPostal1 sells its own at $99 a year, in Alaska, Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wyoming and Washington DC. Read that price with its condition attached. It is an add-on. Only existing Virtual Business Address and Virtual Office customers can buy it, so the floor for an address and an agent together is $149 plus $99. That is $248, which still sits under most standalone agents. The first five agent documents each month are auto-scanned free, time sensitive filings are uploaded within four hours, and iPostal1 keeps the paper at least 90 days. iPostal1 also says plainly that not all of its locations can act as a registered agent, because each location has to register with the state itself.

Your mailbox address is a separate question. Every iPostal1 address is a CMRA, and banks flag CMRA addresses often when you open business checking. There is a well read r/llc thread titled "Stay away from ipostal1" carrying exactly that complaint. If your address has to clear a bank compliance check, this is a risky pick, so ask your bank before you commit.

For most people the plan price is the smallest part of the bill. The fees do the work. Here is the math on the $14.99 Business Green plan, using iPostal1's own posted fees.

A privacy user who gets 8 letters a month, scans none, and forwards nothing pays $14.99 a month. That is the advertised price. It is real.

A solo founder who scans 6 items and shreds 4 pays $14.99 plus 10 orders at $2.25, so $37.49. Buy the $18 bundle of 10 instead and the month is $32.99. Bundles pay off fast.

An ecommerce seller who receives 40 items, scans 10, and forwards two packages pays $14.99, plus $3.50 for the 10 items over the 30 item limit, plus $22.50 in scans, plus postage. Call it $41 before shipping. Shipping is the part that moves.

The pattern is simple. iPostal1 is cheap if you barely use it and ordinary if you use it normally.

At $14.99 a month, iPostal1's Business Green plan is the cheapest business address we track. That is the sticker price. Anytime Mailbox starts at $9.99 a month, but each operator sets their own rate, so what you pay depends on the address you pick. Stable charges $49 a month and includes more in the base price.

Sticker price is not the comparison that matters. Add 10 scans and one forwarded package to iPostal1's plan and you are near $40 a month. On our first year math, iPostal1 costs $149, Anytime Mailbox costs $144.88, and Stable costs $588. Read that again. The cheapest sticker here is not the cheapest first year.

iPostal1's Trustpilot profile shows 4.3 out of 5 from 9,452 reviews. Its BBB profile shows an A rating alongside 222 complaints, and iPostal1 has been BBB accredited since January 2019. Both are true at once. Happy customers rate and move on, unhappy ones file.

Support runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm Eastern, by phone and chat. Complaints cluster around three things. Surprise fees for the Form 1583 notarization, scan quality that changes with the location, and locations closing on short notice.
