How We Tested Visible.vc
We re-verified Visible's founder pricing page, Visible Connect, the integrations page, and the MCP server page in August 2026. We read the full plan comparison table, not the four summary cards. The cards hide both. That table is where the seat limits and the Starter data room file cap are published. Plan prices, data room counts, integration counts, and user counts all come from it. The G2 rating on this page was last checked in July 2026 and is attributed to that date.
Visible.vc Overview
What Visible.vc does
Visible.vc is an investor relationship tool for founders and venture funds. For founders, it covers investor updates, pitch decks, fundraising pipelines, data rooms, dashboards, integrations, and Visible Connect. For venture firms, it covers portfolio data, dashboards, LP reporting, and fund tracking. That split matters.
When it starts to make sense
The founder product makes the most sense after you have a real investor list. If you have 5 people to update, email and a spreadsheet may be enough. Once you have 25 investors, a tracked deck, and monthly KPIs, Visible starts to save admin time. Start simple.
Visible Connect
Visible Connect is a free investor database inside the founder product. Visible says it includes 800+ verified profiles and 19k+ investor records. Use it for early screening. It is not a replacement for a deep research platform if you need fund performance data.

Visible.vc Pricing Plans

Pros
- Free Starter plan includes updates to 100 investors, 2 pitch decks, 2 pipelines, and Visible Connect access without a credit card
- Base plan gives founders custom domain updates, unlimited decks, unlimited pipelines, 1 data room, and 1 integration for $59 a month billed annually
- Core plan adds per slide deck analytics, 3 data rooms, and 3 integrations for $129 a month billed annually
- Visible Connect lists 800+ verified profiles and 19k+ investor records for founder discovery
- G2 listed Visible.vc at 4.7 out of 5 from 27 reviews when checked in July 2026
Cons
- Starter caps you at two users and Base at three, so a four person founding team is pushed to the $129 a month Core plan on seats alone
- Per slide deck analytics start on the $129 a month Core plan, not the $59 Base plan
- Base includes only 1 data integration, while Core includes 3 and Growth includes 5
- The Starter data room is capped at 25 files with first level folder management only
- Investor plans for VC funds are quote based, so fund pricing is less transparent than founder pricing
- Visible Connect is useful for discovery, but it is not a full market data platform like PitchBook
Upsell Pressure & Hidden Fees
Transparency Check, We Documented Every Upsell
Visible does not show prechecked add ons when you pick a plan. The upgrade pressure comes from plan limits. Seats bite first. Starter allows two users and Base allows three. So a four person team pays for Core at $129 a month before it looks at a single feature. After seats it is per slide analytics, a second data room, or a second integration. Visible says it will refund you if you are not happy in your first 30 days. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time. Annual plans end when the year does.
Pricing Transparency Score
4.2/5
5 = Fully transparent pricing · 1 = Heavy upsell pressure
Is Visible.vc Right for You?
Best For These Founders
Founder updates
Use Visible when you send investor updates to 10 or more people and want open tracking.
Active fundraises
Use Visible when you need a tracked deck, pipeline stages, and 1 data room in the same tool.
VC operators
Use the investor product when portfolio data collection and LP reporting are the main jobs, but expect quote based pricing.
Consider Alternatives If…
You only need a one time investor list and do not plan to send updates.
You need a cold email sequencer for outbound fundraising.
You need enterprise legal data room controls before you share documents.
You want public pricing for a VC fund or investor account.
Core features
Visible's update editor sends investor updates by email. It supports KPI charts, tables, links, Slack sharing, and PDF sharing. It works. That matters because investors can read the update where they already work. No login is needed for a normal update email.
Pitch deck hosting is the strongest founder feature. Visible lets founders upload a deck, control access with a password or domain restriction, limit downloads, and track deck engagement. The official deck page lists time spent, slides viewed, and email notices for deck views. That is useful.
Data rooms are bundled into every founder plan, including Starter. The pricing page shows Starter and Base each include 1 data room, Core includes 3, and Growth includes 5. The free room is the one to read closely. It caps at 25 files and supports first level folders only, so a real diligence request will outgrow it quickly. Every paid plan lifts both limits.
Visible also has a normal fundraising pipeline. Starter includes 2 pipelines. Base and higher include unlimited pipelines, which is enough for most founder led raises.
Seats are the limit most founding teams hit first, and the four pricing cards do not show them. You have to open the full comparison table to find them. Starter allows two users and Base allows three. Core and Growth are unlimited. So a four person team is on Core at $129 a month billed annually before per slide analytics or extra data rooms enter the argument. Count your seats first.
Integrations and data
The integrations page lists Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Stripe, Xero, Salesforce, Mercury, Mixpanel, ProfitWell, ChartMogul, Slack, Zapier and the Visible API, alongside Affinity and an Investor API that belong to the fund side of the product. That list is useful. The plan limit matters more than the logo count.
The pricing FAQ says each unique data source counts as 1 integration. Ten Google Sheets count as 1 Google Sheets integration. Good to know. Two Google Analytics accounts count as 1 Google Analytics integration. Base includes 1 integration, Core includes 3, and Growth includes 5.
Visible markets four AI products. They are AI Inbox, AI Updates, AI Docs and an MCP server. All four sit on the investor side of the site. The founder pricing table lists AI Inbox and MCP Server as plan features. No founder product page explains either one. The MCP server page reads as a fund tool from top to bottom, all portfolio data and LP reporting, and its only button is a demo request. Ask before you pay. Find out which founder plan turns AI on before you commit to a year.
Customer review signals
G2 listed Visible.vc at 4.7 out of 5 from 27 reviews when checked in July 2026. The public G2 profile splits those reviews across Visible for founders and Visible for Investors. Recent reviews often mention ease of use, setup, and financial metric sharing. The sample is small.
That review count is small. Treat it as a signal, not proof. It is enough to show that real customers use the product, but not enough to settle whether support or integrations will fit your company.
Who should avoid Visible.vc
Skip Visible.vc if you only need a one time investor list. Visible Connect is helpful, but its 19k+ investor records are not the same thing as a full market data platform. You will still need your own targeting work. Do the research.
Skip it if your main job is outbound email. Visible can manage updates and pipelines, but it is not a cold email sequencer. A sales outreach tool will fit that job better. Use the right tool.
Skip it if you need per document controls that are common in enterprise virtual data rooms. Visible has data rooms, analytics, permissions, and watermarking on higher plans. Founder fundraising rooms are not legal deal rooms. That distinction matters.
Final Verdict
Visible.vc is a good investor update and fundraising workflow tool for founders with real investor activity. The free Starter plan is useful. The $59 Base plan is a fair first paid step. It covers custom domain updates, unlimited decks, unlimited pipelines, and one data room. What usually decides the plan is not a feature, it is headcount. Starter allows two users and Base allows three. A team of four lands on Core at $129 a month billed annually whether or not it wants the analytics. Count your seats first.

Does the data room hold up against dedicated virtual data room tools or is it a lightweight add on?

Lightweight but sufficient for fundraising, file hosting, permissions, and view tracking. If you need granular per document watermarking or enterprise audit trails, a dedicated VDR still wins. For a seed or A raise, most founders never hit its limits.

what is visible.vc in one sentence, landed here comparing tools and every site assumes i already know

One sentence, it is an investor relations platform where founders send polished investor updates and host their data room, and VCs track their portfolio companies' metrics. The review above covers both sides, the free tier is genuinely usable for founders.
